There are health & medical facts encompassed with human health & body worldwide.


Human body doesn’t do with same rhythm throughout the life. Some times it becomes ill and majority times it remains well. There are many interesting hidden facts that we don’t know or try to look for those undiscovered facts. But if we know those, we can get a bit health knowledge which will offer us some sort of awareness.

Let’s explore some of the facts below and enrich us with this interesting knowledge about our bodies and conditions upon which those depend on:

Ø  Regular Bathing: Do you know it that bathing every day is not good for your skin?

 

Ø  Pineapple Preference: Do you like Pineapple? Then you should know that eating pineapple reduces bloating. Pineapple holds bromelain, an enzyme that helps digestion and lessens bloating.


Ø  The liver can regenerate – It’s the only organ in the human body that can regrow to its full size even if as much as 75% of it is removed.


Ø  Humans have more than five senses – In addition to sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing, humans also have senses like balance, temperature, and pain.


Ø  The stomach gets a new lining every 3-4 days – This is to prevent the acid in your stomach from digesting itself.


Ø  Are you fond of chewing gum? It increases blood flow to your brain, therefore; making your memory and cognitive function improved.


Ø  Do you keep pillow between your knees during your sleep? This will lighten your back pain and keep the spinal alignment well.

Ø  Yawning helps cool your brainSometimes our bodies need yawning. It’s not just a signal of tiredness. And, it not only helps to increase oxygen intake but also helps to cool down the brain and blood supply.


Ø  Banana eating: It helps relieve from your heartburn. They possess natural antacids properties that can pacify the stomach lining.

Ø  Carbonated beverage: Do you like coca cola, 7up, Sprite, or Mountain dew? It is not normally suggested by the dieticians. But if you feel nauseous, drink a carbonated beverage.


Though beverage is not so healthy, still it works sometimes.


Ø  Men and women hear differently – Women typically have a better sense of higher-pitched sounds and process speech on both sides of the brain.


Ø  The brain feels no pain – Though it processes pain, the brain itself has no pain receptors, so brain surgery can be done while the patient is awake.

Ø    Diabetes: We generally believe that diabetes patients are not well enough to take sugary foods. But hidden matter is: everything we consume is turned into sugar in the body. Consequently, we don't need to consume additional sugar because it creates too much sugars for the body to break those down.


Ø   Your heartbeat syncs with music – Listening to music can influence your heart rate,  syncing to the rhythm of the tune. But high heart rate is not recommended though!


Ø   The sense of smell affects memory and emotions – The olfactory bulb in the brain is closely linked to the amygdala and hippocampus, impacting memory and emotional response.

Ø   Humans produce about 1 liter of saliva daily – Saliva plays a critical role in digestion, oral hygiene, and even wound healing.


Ø    Your nose can remember 50,000 different scents – While everyone’s sense of smell varies, it’s capable of distinguishing a huge variety of odors.


Ø     Blood makes up about 8% of your body weight – The average adult has about 5 liters (1.3 gallons) of blood circulating in their body.


Ø     Most of your dust is dead skin – Up to 80% of dust in the average home is made up of dead skin cells.


Ø     Your bones are stronger than steel – Ounce for ounce, human bones are about five times stronger than steel. But if we go for measuring the strength of the same volume of material, bone is found less dense than steel and it will break long before steel breaks. Bone is specially made by Almighty Allah to support the human so that there can be a balance between strength and lightness. Needless to say, that individual organisms must move it around. So, it can be said that apart from density, bones are incredibly as hard as steel.

Ø     Cold weather can help you burn fat – Exposure to cold activates brown fat in your body, which burns calories to generate heat.


Ø      Blushing is uniquely human – Humans are the only species known to blush, which is triggered by adrenaline in response to emotions like embarrassment.
